Clinical Machine Learning Research Unit

About the Unit

Digitalization of healthcare gives us a unique opportunity to leverage information generated in the process of care to help patients and clinicians choose the best care pathways.

At the Clinical Machine Learning Research Unit we design, develop and evaluate technology that supports evidence-based decision making for individual patients.

As with any other healthcare intervention, we demand our technology to be cost-effective and safe.

Our research makes use of big clinical practice datasets from Australia, UK and US, as well as computational statistics methods including interpretable predictive analytics and causal inference algorithms.
