Short course: Advanced Analysis of Linked Health Data

In this intensive course, advanced principles of health care epidemiology are combined with hands-on practical exercises in the implementation of computing solutions involving the analysis of linked mortality, institutional, pharmaceutical and primary care data. The course will be facilitated by Professor David Preen, the Chair in Public Health at the School of Population Health, The University of Western Australia (UWA), and the UWA node director of CREMA. Usually offered at UWA, Prof. Preen’s short courses in linked health data analysis are well known for their excellence and are in high demand both nationally and abroad.

The short course will be hosted by the Centre for Big Data Research in Health, UNSW and is part of CREMA’s efforts build national workforce capacity in pharmacoepidemiology research and policy translation.
